Saturday -- One Week Of Jane Austen.

Show finally getting more or less in groove, although opening night was awful. Audiences seem to like it. What can I say? It's Little Old Ladies. Put 'em onstage, and you've got it made. This show has had the most advance sales of any this season so far.

It was so hot this afternoon I didn't cut any grass at all, which after weeks of neglect -- too wet in the morning, grinding tombstones all afternoon, and rehearsals all night -- has gotten almost a foot high. So I hope this isn't my only chance. If it rains for the next few days, it'll just keep growing, and I'll have a tall crop of hay to deal with.

Alas, it really likes to grow fast in hot, muggy, rainy weather.
